BodyTransformation

April 21st, 2010 -- Posted in Wheat, egg, peanut, milk | No Comments »

November 08. I lost a total of 68 lbs. I started out slow just cutting certain foods out of my diet and then I added cardio and weight lifting after a month or so.
I would say to people that you just have to find something that motivates you because after a month or so it will become habit and you will want to do it. If you don’t you will feel lousy about not working out.
I always found that music was my motivation when I put those headphones on I go into a whole different place and it makes me push harder.
Here are some of the steps I took to losing the weight that I did.

1. Cutting out fast food if you eat fast food you can probably lose an easy 5 to 10 lbs just from cutting that out it is horrible for you.

2. Soda – This was hard for me I hate coffee and so I always drank soda. You might have some withdrawls but try to get water, tea, or in some cases diet soda but I still think soda even diet will slow your progress.

3. Sugars- They are hard to cut out as well but getting sugars from fruits is a lot better than getting them from junk food.

4. Bread- Well not everyone can make this commitment. Bread just goes so good with everything. I would try to pick up a very healthy wheat bread or maybe a high fiber tortilla.

5. Red Meat- Try to eat a lot more Chicken,Fish,Turkey, Shrimp, and Tuna these are lean and will help you build muscle.

6. Beer- I would drink very rarely when on the diet because 110 cal for your average beer adds up pretty quick.

Here are some foods I ate while on the diet
Oatmeal with Amplify Protein Powder and Banannas, Greek Lowfat Yogurt sometimes with protein powder, Banannas,Apples,Oranges,Grapes
Soy Beans, Brussell Sprouts, Salads with Chicken Breast, Egg Whites,
High Fiber Tortilla Wraps with chicken turkey usually spicy mustard to flavor no mayo. Organic or Naturally More Peanut Butter in moderation or in Protein Shakes, Orange Juice with less sugars, Propel Waters, Diet Lipton Green Tea, Canned or Frozed Vegtables the greens being the most important, Protein bars the lower calorie one from food for less, Skim Milk,
Fat Free kraft Cheese,
The Supplements I took were Amplify Protein Powder, and also took some protein from a local distributor. I really don’t see the point in using much more than protein you will waste your money on all the other stuff.
